Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that the harbor project at Baa Atoll Fehendhoo is moving forward at a fast speed.

The company said that currently, the stones are being places for the inner seawall.

Under the project, a harbor area of 25,000 cubic meters will be developed with a 18,500 cubic meters of harbor basin and 130 meters of breakwater, 282 meters of revetment and 214 meters of keywall.

The project also entails a ramp along with the harbor and lights.

MTCC said that the project worth MVR49.6 million was contracted by the Ministry of National Planning and the work began on 10 November 2019.
