The government highlights that there are several notable accomplishments made as part of the pledges made by the current administration regarding the development of the countrys' economy as well as presenting the people of Maldives with a proper governance.

The Office of the President informs that the 2nd of January 2019 marks the first 30 working days of this presidency and that the administration has completed 56 out of the 67 pledges; this is 84 per cent of total tasks assigned for initial 30 days. These accomplishments also include 19 different sectors; notably, the areas of eradicating corruption, improvements in higher education and developments in the health sector as well and transport, democracy and human rights sectors.

The Office of the President has stated that the biggest achievement within the first 30 days of this presidency is establishing a constitutional governance and ensuring the rights of the Maldivian people are under a true democracy. A major feat forward in this area is the annulment of the previously passed Anti-Defamation Act, to ensure freedom of press and the independence of the country's media.

The statement further highlighted that within the past 30 days, the administration has strengthened the people's confidence in the country's law enforcement sector by bringing various changes to it. It was further noted that several developments have also been made in resolving cold cases of the past few years through the Deaths and Disappearances Investigative Team. The Commission was assembled by President Solih in order to focus on conducting thorough and independent investigations and has made major developments according to the office of the President.

Another area given utmost priority by the current administration within the first 30 days, is the youth development sector and the statement noted that the administration has succeeded in bringing about progress in the education sector. One of the achievements to be noted include providing free education till the level of Bachelor's Degree from Maldivian Colleges and Institutes as promised in the 100-day pledges of President Solih. In addition to that, the interest rates of student loans for those seeking tertiary education abroad have been decreased by three per cent and student loan payment duration has been extended by 25 per cent. The administration has also established scholarships for National High Achievers who bring about outstanding results in higher education and opened up the opportunity for those students to study in OECD countries.

Further accomplishments of this administration highlighted in the press statement include the official request by Maldives to regain membership as a Commonwealth nation as well as reinstating the authoritative powers repossessed by the previous administration to the city councils as per the legal framework of the government. Highlighting accomplishments in the field of environmental protection, the statement noted the declaration of certain areas in H.a. Baarah and H. dh. Neykurendhoo as well as the island of H.a. Keylakuni as protected areas by the government.

Achievements in the health sector comprise of the inclusion of various therapies within the National Health Insurance coverage Aasandha as well as ensuring that health services are provided even in the case where the National Identity card of the individual has expired.
