Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 20 percent of the harbor development project in Dhaalu Atoll Hulhudheli has been completed.

MTCC said that 26 percent of the harbor basin dredging has been completed.

The project worth MVR 39.8 million was contracted to the company in December 2019 to be completed within a year and the project began on June 2020.

The project entails dredging of 45,585 cubic meters, 277 metes out outer sea wall, 432 meters of inner sea wall along with 2160 square meters of pavement, 20 mooring block installation and harbor lights.
