MTCC completes 67 percent of Dhuvaafaru road development

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed 67 percent of the road development project at Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru.

The project worth USD 28.2 million was contracted to MTCC in May 2019.

MTCC said that the ABC layers of the roads were completed on 15 July 2020 as part of the project with ABC layers of 3,312.23 meters on 12 roads.

Last May saw the company complete tarmac road development on the major roads at Laamu Atoll Fonadhoo, Raa Atoll Ungoofaaru and Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo. The total of the four projects amounts to MVR 120 million.
