Maldives Police Service has said that the employees of the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) are also required register at the police portal before going on duty.

Talking to One Online, Police Spokesperson, Izmia Zahir said that starting today, MACL staff working at the airport needs to be registered and approved from the portal before going on duty.

This update has been informed to the MACL staff by the company as well via message that advises to register and get approved by the police portal before going on duty even if they are traveling on bus.

Following the lock down of Male’ Area due to the COVID-19 pandemic, police have created a special portal to get permits for those who are leaving their houses to get essential supplies and other needs. And a special permit has been issued to shops and delivery services.
