Upper South Division of the Maldives Police Service has started investigating the sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy.

Police said that the case was reported at 5:05 p.m. yesterday and so far, no arrests have been made regarding sexual assault.

As the investigation continues, police have refrained from releasing any information of the victims and advised not to release any information on the victim in such cases to protect their identity
