Ministry of Health has said that a second person with measles have been found in the Maldives and a third suspected patient is being tested for the disease.

While the Ministry has made the statement, the first patient discovered this year, a child, have been released from the hospital after being cleared of the infection stage.

Health Ministry took to Twitter moments ago announcing that another patient has been found and those suspected of having the disease are being tested.

One Online has learned that a 17-year-old boy was admitted at the hospital yesterday evening with measles and is being treated in quarantine at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). The boy is studying in a senior secondary school and did go to school yesterday according to sources.
