Ismail Hameed, popularly known as Highrise Isse, has won the Entrepreneur of the Year at the Maldives Business Awards 2019.

At the Gala ceremony held at Cross Roads Maldives last night, the award for Entrepreneur of the Year was presented to Isse by the Chief Executive Officer of Blazon Inc., the organizer of the Maldives Business Awards, Hassan Abdilla Hilmee.

While Isse has wont Entrepreneur of the Year, last year, he won the Boating Personality of the Year at the Maldives Boating Awards.

A key figure in making the Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM) a national organization, Isse is also the first Secretary General of LAM.

Since then, he has worked at the President of the organization and since name was changed to National Boating Association of the Maldives by the government, he was elected the Vice President at the annual function of the association.

Isse has played a major role in training youth to the Maldivian tourism sector especially in developing the Boating Industry.

And so, he has been released a magazine by the name of “Floating” which has now evolved to “ Floating Asia” and releasing international editions twice a year.
