Ooredoo Maldives has been named 'Business of the Year' at the Maldives Business Awards 2019 held at The Marina at Crossroads Maldives last night.

Head of Sales, Hussain Niyaz received the award, which has been dubbed the most prestigious business award in the Maldives. In addition to Business of the Year, Ooredoo Maldives also won the People's Choice for Best CSR Program of the year.

Their 'Smart Cities' project in collaboration with UNDP Maldives and HDC made this win possible for them.

The company also defended their previous wins for Excellence in Information & Technology and Foreign Direct Investment of the Year.

Maldives Business Awards takes on the ambition to introduce a platform to recognize and acclaim businesses who have shown exceptional performances in their respective fields.
