PG Bisham has resigned from the position after the judiciary committee of the parliament sent a summon notice to appear at the parliament at 11 a.m. to respond in the no confidence inquiry against her.
Bisham also issued a press statement today stating attempts were being made outside the law to remove her from office and does not believe the work of the judiciary committee of the parliament is working with honest intention.
In her statement, she also said that parliament failed to announce that her dismissal was on the list of pending queries by the judiciary committee. And while the opportunity remained to appear at the parliament to respond to the committee, the summon notice by the parliament failed to mention as to the specifics of the inquiry.
