A female officer of the Maldives Police Service has taken part in the VVIP motorcade for the first time in Maldivian history.
The first female officer to take part in the VVIP motorcade is Lance Corporal, Aleena Moosa, from the Traffic Department of the police.

Last December, Chief Inspector of Police, Izmiyya Zahir became the first female Spokesperson of the Maldives Police Service.
