President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the Maldives Health and Family Expo 2026 at a special ceremony held at Hulhumalé Central Park this evening.

More than 60 organisations from the health sector are taking part in the three-day expo, including hospitals from Malé and the atolls. The exhibition provides information on healthcare services and programmes offered by hospitals, health centres and other relevant institutions.
Held under the theme ‘Together for a Healthy and Happy Generation’, the expo aims to promote public awareness of health issues, encourage healthier lifestyles and highlight measures for disease prevention. It also seeks to strengthen community engagement in building a healthier generation.
The expo is open to the public for three days, beginning today.
