State Electric Company (STELCO) has said that electrical power interruptions will be taking place in parts of Male’ City today.
In a tweet sent out today, STELCO said that power interruptions will be experienced in Male’ City for a brief time today.

apologies to all the customers who will be affected.
The company said that the power interruptions are being caused due to a technical issue with the 8.9 megawatt generator used to provide service.
While electrical issues have increased in the capital and the atolls, the government has been working to tackle the issues.
