Coast Guard has provided assistance and safely brought to Male’ City a vessel traveling from Lhaviyani Atoll Kurendhoo to Male’ after it started taking in water.
A tweet sent out by the MNDF said that the 99-foot vessel “Feyruma” traveling with 16 people was assisted late last night and nine people were taken on the Coast Guard launch and brought to the capital around 3 :45 a.m.
