Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has canceled the agreements for two units in the Amaan Towers and ordered the occupants to vacate the premises due to non-payment.

In a press release issued today, FDC stated that this action was taken because the occupants failed to settle required payments in accordance with the signed agreement governing the allocation of the 4,000 housing units.

FDC noted that prior to terminating the agreements, the parties were given a 135-day window to clear their outstanding dues. During this period, the corporation issued two payment default notices as well as the mandatory 30-day agreement termination notice. These notices were delivered via the Fahi portal, SMS, email, and physical documentation.

Despite providing reasonable opportunities to settle the debt in line with contractual terms, the occupants failed to pay after the designated period elapsed. Consequently, FDC canceled the agreements and instructed the units to be vacated and handed over within 15 days of receiving notice. Access to their Fahi portal accounts has also been revoked.

FDC emphasized that this measure was taken to enforce regulations fairly across all tenants, reaffirming its commitment to transparent management of housing units. The corporation urged all residents of Amaan Towers to pay rent and maintenance fees regularly according to their agreements to ensure sustainable building maintenance and maintain service quality.
