Vice President Faisal Naseem has met with the members of the Baa Atoll Kamadhoo Island Council.
At the meeting held this morning at the President’s Office, the Councilors discussed concerns raised by their constituents, as well as various development projects. The council members also highlighted the most pertinent and urgent needs of residents of Kamadhoo, including the need for a water and sewage system.
Kamadhoo Council also noted growing concern on the healthcare facility and growth required in the education sector in the island, as well as various other matters raised by residents of the island.
Vice President Naseem reiterated the administration's stance to conduct nationwide infrastructural projects which would benefit all residents of the country. He stated that the government would take the necessary action after discussing with relevant line ministries to address the specific issues and concerns raised by members of the Kamadhoo Council.
