Feydhoo South PNC MP Ibrahim Didi has stated that PNF leader and former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom does not even have 10 members of his own party, the PNF, accompanying him on his ongoing trip to Addu City.

Speaking during today's session of the People's Majlis while debating the Proceeds of Crime Bill submitted by government-backed Fuvahmulah Central MP Ali Fazad, MP Didi made the remarks to highlight what he described as a lack of genuine support for Yameen.

The MP claimed that the individuals attending meetings and traveling with Yameen to various locations during his Addu visit are actually members of the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

"I want to ask President Yameen, how many times will the MDP trick you? On this current trip to Addu, there aren't even 10 PNF members; it's all MDP people there," Didi said.

During his visit to Addu City, former President Yameen has also held meetings with the city council.
