The program was inaugurated by the company's Managing Director, DCP (Retired) Ahmed Saudhee, at a special ceremony held at the MNU Business School auditorium. Senior management figures from MTCC also attended the ceremony.
Running for a duration of three months, this program is designed to provide educational and practical experience alongside skill development in the working environment under supervisor supervision. This year's program has opened training opportunities across 14 fields.
MTCC stated that this is the highest number of fields ever offered since the program's inception. Participants in the program will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 8,000, and the company noted that those who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity to secure permanent employment based on their performance.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director Saudhee urged participants to make the best use of this important opportunity and work tirelessly to become individuals beneficial to the company, society, and the nation. Through the program, participants will gain practical work experience, technical and professional skills, and mentorship. They will also have the opportunity to complete training in customer service, fire safety, and awareness, alongside specialized technical training related to their fields.
MTCC stated that its objective is to frequently provide such opportunities to Maldivian citizens and bring as many young Maldivians as possible into the workforce.
