President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the higher secondary examination is an important phase in building students' futures.

In a post on X today, the President extended his best wishes for absolute success to all Maldivian students, their families, and schools participating in this year's higher secondary examinations, which commenced today.

The President stated in his post that the higher secondary examination is a crucial milestone in shaping students' futures, particularly in choosing a field of higher education and moving forward.

"God willing, you will reap the sweet rewards of the hard work you have put into preparing for these exams," the President said.

The President stated that he hopes students will answer the higher secondary exams with ease and excellence, bringing forth strong results that will make the entire nation proud.

For this year's higher secondary examinations, 4,973 students are scheduled to sit for the A-Level exams and 2,263 students for the HSC exams across 53 centers.

While the A-Level exams began today, they are scheduled to conclude on October 30th.
