State Trading Organisation (STO) has issued a 90-day notice to food court operators at the Malé Southwest Harbour to vacate their units to make way for the planned development of the harbour area.

STO said the operators must vacate and hand over the premises within 90 days of receiving the notice, in line with the agreement between the parties. The existing lease agreements will subsequently be terminated.

STO said details of any outstanding rent or maintenance fees, along with payment schedules, will be provided before the notice period ends.
