A man has been injured following a sharp object attack in Malé.

A police media official stated that a report of an altercation taking place in Galolhu, Huvafeny Goalhi was received by authorities last night at around 2:32 AM.

The official noted that a 35-year-old Maldivian man injured in the incident was transported to IGMH for treatment. However, specific details regarding the extent of his injuries are not yet available.

Police are currently conducting an investigation into the case.
