The Maldives Police Service has announced vacancies to recruit 29 individuals for the position of Special Constabulary Constable.

According to an announcement issued by the police, the Special Constabulary Constable positions, which are based in the Malé area, carry a monthly salary of MVR 17,175.

Applicants must have completed Grade 10 and be between the ages of 18 and 35. Height requirements specify a minimum of 5 feet 3 inches for male candidates and 5 feet for female candidates. Additional eligibility criteria include having no major criminal convictions, not having served a criminal sentence within the past three years, not being the subject of a domestic violence protection order, and not being a member of any political party.

The selection process requires candidates to pass physical fitness and swimming tests, as well as a medical examination, polygraph test, interview, and background assessment. The police stated that priority will be given to candidates who achieve the highest scores across these evaluations.

Interested applicants are required to submit a completed application form, a criminal record check form, educational certificates, and a copy of their national ID card. Application forms will be accepted until 4:00 PM on the 30th of this month at the reception of the Shaheed Hussain Adam Building, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on all working days.
