An accident on the Sinamalé Bridge has left one person injured.

Police stated that a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the lane heading from Malé to Hulhumalé was reported to authorities last night at around 7:01 PM.

The motorcyclist involved in the crash was transported to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment. Police confirmed that the individual did not sustain serious injuries, though both the motorcycle and the car sustained varying degrees of damage.

Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
