A two-year-old child has died after falling from a STELCO apartment building in Hulhumalé Phase 2.

Hulhumalé Hospital stated today that a two-year-old girl was brought to the facility after falling from an upper floor of a flat in Hulhumalé.

The hospital confirmed that the child was already deceased upon arrival.

It is understood that the child fell from the 12th floor of the STELCO residential flat.
