The opportunity to participate in the "Rayyithunge Adu" (Voice of the People) meeting series, held for President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to meet with citizens, has been opened for eight additional constituencies today.

The President’s Office stated today that registrations have been opened for Henveiru North constituency, Milandhoo constituency, Velidhoo constituency, Thulhaadhoo constituency, Felidhoo constituency, Mulaku constituency, Nilandhoo constituency, and Guraidhoo constituency.

The President’s Office noted that individuals wishing to participate in these meetings must register through the President’s Office portal (rayyithungeadu.presidency.gov.mv) before 12:00 midnight on Monday, August 31.

In granting slots for the meetings, the President’s Office stated that consideration will be given to the number of applicants, the allocated time, and administrative logistics.

This program was initiated to provide members of the public the opportunity to submit their concerns directly to the President.

The President’s Office said that attendees may be accompanied by their spouse, one child, and either their mother or father, with 10 minutes allocated for each meeting.

During these meetings, participants will be able to discuss personal matters, workplace-related issues, and matters concerning broader public interest, the President’s Office stated.

Under the code of conduct for the meetings, all participants must conduct themselves with decorum. The President’s Office stressed that intimidation, abusive language, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.

The President’s Office said that the date and time of the meeting will be communicated to applicants via the contact method provided during form submission.
