Maldives Customs Service has announced job openings to recruit 26 new staff members.
In a gazetted announcement yesterday, the agency stated that it is seeking 26 Assistant Officer Trainees to work across its various offices.
The basic monthly salary for the position is MVR 5,000. In addition, successful candidates will receive a job allowance of MVR 4,660, a daily attendance allowance of MVR 75 per working day, a food allowance, overtime pay, public holiday allowances, and other standard benefits.
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 30 years as of the 24th of this month.
Minimum educational requirements include achieving at least a 'D' grade in two subjects at GCE O-Level or equivalent examination, at least a 'C' grade in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, and passing the physical fitness assessment conducted by Customs. Alternatively, candidates may qualify by holding an MNQF Level 3 certificate in a field relevant to Customs operations, along with at least a 'C' grade in O-Level Dhivehi.
Additionally, completing and obtaining certification from the National Service Program or an equivalent national program related to Customs work is also recognized under the eligibility criteria.
Applications will remain open until next Monday. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the "Recruitment Portal" on the official Maldives Customs Service website.
