President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that upholding work ethics and professional integrity is the responsibility of every individual.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that one of the foremost resolves on National Day should be fostering civilized conduct, reviving moral values, and instilling genuine mutual respect and unity across Maldivian society.

Highlighting key aspects of professional conduct, the President noted that arriving at work punctually, dedicating office hours diligently to assigned tasks, avoiding habitual leave, and fulfilling responsibilities conscientiously bring honor to both the individual employee and the state.

"By no means am I saying not to utilize the rights and conveniences available to us in modern times. However, I am asking for integrity in work ethics—to be diligent, honest, and responsible; indeed, to respect professional work ethics," the President said.

The President emphasized that when institutional leaders and employees respect work ethics, the public receives far greater satisfaction from public services, productivity multiplies, and the entire nation progresses.

He added that true national stability, security, and meaningful development can only be achieved when a culture of respect is instilled across all levels of society, from the family unit to overarching national duties.
