Registration has opened for residents of eight additional constituencies to participate in President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s Rayyithunge Adu meetings.

The newly included constituencies are Ihavandhoo, Naifaru, Fonadhoo, Meedhoo, Villingili, Machangolhi South, Maamigili and Thinadhoo North.

Those wishing to participate must register through the President’s Office portal by midnight on Monday, 17 August.

Each meeting will last 10 minutes, with the participant allowed to attend with their spouse, one child and either their mother or father.

The meetings provide an opportunity for residents to raise personal, professional and broader public-interest issues directly with the President.

The President’s Office said participants must maintain respectful conduct, and threats, abusive language and actions that undermine public interests will not be permitted.

The date and time of each meeting will be communicated to selected participants through the contact details provided during registration.
