President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have returned to Malé today after concluding their visit to AA. Ukulhas to grace the symposium of Audit Offices of Small Island Developing States.

The presidential couple was accompanied on this trip by members of the Cabinet, senior officials of government institutions, and heads of state-owned enterprises.

During the visit, the President attended the closing ceremony of the Small Island Developing States Supreme Audit Institutions (SIDS-SAI) Symposium and the opening ceremony of the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) Global Summit.

According to the President's Office, the President met with members of the island council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) to discuss key priorities for the island's development.

Additionally, the President inaugurated the newly established volleyball court in Ukulhas and attended the ceremony marking the commencement of physical work on the Ukulhas Sports Complex. The President and First Lady also participated in a tree-planting event held on the island under the 5 Million Trees Program.
