Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) to transform Hulhumalé into a family-friendly city.

ARC is a non-governmental organization that advocates for children's rights and works to raise awareness on child rights at both national and international levels.

HDC stated yesterday that signing such an agreement with ARC is a privilege for the corporation.

The corporation noted that its goals focus on child safety, healthy living, climate action, promoting sustainable habits, creating inclusive community spaces, and building a better future for families.

In addition to these initiatives, HDC is actively working to ensure Hulhumalé provides a pleasant and healthy living environment for both residents and visitors.

These efforts include establishing and further developing community parks, exercise spaces, and sports facilities across Hulhumalé Phase 1 and Phase 2 for children and senior citizens.
