A fire incident occurred on a launch docked at HDh. Hanimaadhoo harbor, burning the launch beyond use.

Police said that information regarding the incident was reported to the police last night around 00:20 AM.

In the incident, the captain and a crew member of the launch sustained varying degrees of injuries, and the crew member has now been discharged after receiving treatment. However, after receiving treatment at the Hanimaadhoo Health Center, the captain has now been transferred to Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital for further treatment.

Police said that they are investigating the incident.
