The person who went missing and was being searched for from a fishing boat named "Bahuru", which was catching bait on the southern side of HDh. Hondaafushi, has been found.

MNDF stated that the incident of the missing person was reported to the MNDF Coastguard early this morning at around 04:05 AM. Upon receiving the report, the MNDF Northern Area Command, Coastguard First Squadron, commenced search operations to locate the individual.

The person was found washed up on the beach of Hondaafushi this morning at around 5:55 AM. He was spotted by a dinghy that was assisting in the search efforts.

He has been taken to the HDh. Hanimaadhoo Health Center to receive emergency medical treatment, and MNDF stated that his condition is now good.
