A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a lorry near the STELCO bus stop area today.

Police said the accident, involving a motorcycle and a lorry carrying sand bags, was reported at 3:57 p.m. The collision occurred on the side of the bridge, where the motorcyclist was struck by the lorry.

The injured rider was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
