Mohamed Firzul Abdullah Khaleel has been appointed as a Board Member and the new Managing Director of the Maldives Hajj Corporation today.

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) officially announced his appointment to lead the country's primary state-owned enterprise responsible for organizing and facilitating Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.

Prior to assuming this role, Firzul served in several high-profile governmental and political positions. Notably, he held the position of Under Secretary for Public Policy at the President's Office. He is also the current spokesperson for the ruling People's National Congress (PNC).

During the presidential transition period, Firzul played a highly visible public role as the official spokesperson for the Transitional Office. He comes from a legal education background and brings extensive experience in administration and policy formulation to his new post.
