Two foreign workers were injured after falling from a building under construction on Majeedhee Magu in Malé on Sunday.
Police said the incident was reported at around 1:50 p.m. after information was received that two people had fallen from the construction site.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the men fell while carrying out work on the building's first floor.
The injured men, a 22-year-old Nepali national and a 39-year-old Bangladeshi national, were taken to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police have not disclosed details of their injuries.
The case is under investigation.
