A total of 84 police officers serving in the Male’ Area have been awarded the Police Service Medal in recognition of their dedicated service.

According to the Maldives Police Service, the recipients included 32 commissioned officers, 18 officers holding the rank of Sub-Inspector of Police, and 34 officers ranging from Senior Sergeant to Constable.

The medals were presented during a ceremony held at Iskandhar Building yesterday by Commissioner of Police Ahmed Mohamed. Deputy Commissioner of Police Farhad Fikury and other senior police officers also attended the event.

Addressing the ceremony, Commissioner Ahmed congratulated the recipients and thanked them for their loyal and committed service over the years. He also urged all officers to continue working together to strengthen unity within the police service.
