The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness has announced that a special "Gaming Carnival" will be hosted every Friday evening at the Youth Hub in celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The carnival is scheduled to run throughout the World Cup tournament, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM every Friday. It offers the public a chance to participate in a wide variety of games and sports activities free of charge. Renowned local football players are also set to join the festivities.
The Gaming Carnival is being organized as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Watch Series events held at the venue. Designed to accommodate up to 250 people at a time, the Youth Hub's watch parties are completely free and open to everyone, providing a safe and family-friendly environment.
In addition to screening the World Cup matches, the event will feature stalls offering free refreshments, interactive games, and lucky draws with valuable prizes. The Ministry noted that prizes include official tournament footballs and one-month complimentary gym memberships at 'Youth By Gymnasia'.
According to the Youth Ministry, the primary objective of this initiative is to foster national unity through sports and to create a wholesome, engaging environment that benefits both the youth and the wider community.
