President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended greetings and best wishes to the heads of state and government of Muslim countries, as well as leaders of Islamic international organisations, on the occasion of the Hijri New Year 1448 AH.

In his message, President Dr Muizzu said the Islamic New Year is an opportunity for reflection on oneself and the wider community. He highlighted the importance of unity, harmony, and working together for the common good while serving others selflessly.

The President also expressed hope that the coming year would strengthen faith and inspire greater solidarity among Muslims. He wished for Almighty Allah’s blessings to bring lasting peace, prosperity, and well-being to the Muslim Ummah.
