Dhiraagu has been named "Telco of the Year – Small Markets" at the Twimbit Telecom Awards 2026 in Singapore, in recognition of its achievements in digital innovation, network development and customer experience.

The annual awards recognize telecommunications operators and technology providers across Asia for excellence in innovation, growth, customer service and digital transformation. According to Dhiraagu, the category featured operators from emerging and small markets across the region.

Dhiraagu said the award reflects its strong market position, operational performance and the trust of its customers. The company noted that the recognition comes during a milestone year in which it achieved nationwide mobile and fibre broadband coverage across every inhabited island in the Maldives.

The company added that it remains focused on supporting the country's digital transformation through continued investments in connectivity infrastructure, digital services and technology initiatives aligned with its vision of a "Digital Raajje."
