State Pharmaceuticals has opened its first pharmacy at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The new State Pharma IGMH Pharmacy was opened in the hospital’s OPD area and will operate 24 hours a day.

The pharmacy was inaugurated by Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem and State Pharma Managing Director Mohamed Waheed Shah Mahir.

According to State Pharma, the pharmacy will provide medicines to the public and also supply imported pharmaceuticals.

The opening comes as authorities move to transfer all pharmacies operated by State Trading Organization (STO) to State Pharma.
