Yoosuf Waheed has been dismissed from his position as a member of the Board of Directors of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has confirmed this. However, the reason for his dismissal from the post has not been disclosed.

Yoosuf Waheed was appointed to the HDC board in September 2024.

He currently holds the position of Chief Internal Auditor at the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC).

He has also previously served as a board member of STELCO.

He holds a Master of Professional Accounting and Finance from the University of South Australia, and has also completed his undergraduate degree in the field of finance.
