President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that his series of regular meetings with the public will resume next month.

Speaking at a press conference held today at the President's Office, President Muizzu stated that he will be holding meetings with residents of individual wards in Malé, stakeholders from various industries, and will also continue visiting islands in the atolls to meet with residents.

"I will strive to hold these meetings as often as time permits, God willing, as long as there are no travel conflicts or urgent matters. I will hold public meetings at least once a week or as frequently as possible. We have also decided to hold sectoral meetings with specific groups—for example, meeting separately with the tourism industry, the fisheries sector, and various other professions," the President said.

The President noted that these meetings with the public serve as a significant force in shaping government policies and emphasized his desire to always work closely with the people.

The President has already visited every inhabited island in the Maldives to meet with residents, with some islands receiving two visits from him.
