Legal practitioner Nazim Abdul Sattar, the younger brother of former President Mohamed Nasheed, has been attacked with a sharp object.

Police confirmed today that they received a report from ADK Hospital around 9:00 PM last night regarding a 49-year-old Maldivian man who was brought in with injuries sustained from a sharp-edged weapon.

While the police have not officially disclosed the identity of the victim or the specific details of his injuries, it has been confirmed that the attack was targeted at Nazim.
