Chief Government Spokesperson Mohamed Hussain Shareef said the government’s Media Village project is expected to be completed by the end of June.

Speaking at a press conference, Shareef said construction work is progressing quickly. He added that information from the relevant ministry indicates the project is now nearing completion.

The Media Village is being developed in Hulhumale Phase 1 on land where STO previously developed a city hotel in 2017.

The government awarded the project to World of Business Private Limited. The Media Village will include 34 spaces for media-related use.
