President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has emphasized the importance of cooperation with neighboring countries and international partners for the Maldives’ development.

Speaking at the Maldives–Sri Lanka Business Forum in Sri Lanka, the President said the Maldivian economy is open to business and aims to play a role in shaping a future driven by technological advancement. He invited investors and partners to collaborate on infrastructure development and sustainable tourism projects.

He also highlighted Sri Lanka as a key partner, noting the significant role Sri Lankan businesses continue to play in the Maldives’ tourism sector.
