The Foundation of Eydhafushi Youth Linkage (FAYLI), a winner of last year’s BML Bank Fund, has expanded the Vocational Training Lab and established a new Digital Studio at the Baa Atoll Education Centre. Bank of Maldives (BML) stated that the two classrooms were designed to enhance students' practical skills and creativity by providing training with modern facilities to strengthen their vocational technical abilities.

The digital studio features a complete production setup equipped with digital cameras, where training programs in photography, videography, and digital content creation will be conducted for students. As part of this project, FAYLI also upgraded the school's existing vocational training lab to include a carpentry section outfitted with necessary woodworking tools, battery-powered electric equipment, and safety gear. Additionally, the sewing section was developed with new sewing machines and essential tailoring equipment.

Specialized training programs are scheduled to be held in the lab to further develop the students' vocational skills. The Bank Fund is an annual grant opened to registered non-governmental organizations in the Maldives to conduct community projects. BML provides MVR 200,000 in assistance to each of the five organizations selected annually to implement their proposed projects.
