President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to travel to Sri Lanka this coming Sunday following an invitation from Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The President's Office announced today that the visit will span four days. During the trip, President Muizzu is set to meet with senior Sri Lankan officials and hold official talks with President Dissanayake to further strengthen the close bilateral ties between the Maldives and Sri Lanka.

The President’s Office also noted that several agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation across various sectors will be exchanged between the two nations in the presence of both leaders.

The President will be accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, along with a high-level delegation including cabinet ministers and senior government officials.

According to the President's Office, President Muizzu remains committed to fortifying relationships with key partner nations that contribute to the development and progress of the Maldives.
