The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has started renovation work on Fithuroanu Magu in Hulhumale’ as part of ongoing road construction and repair efforts.

According to HDC, the project falls under a broader agreement awarded to a Chinese company to upgrade roads in Hulhumale’ Phase 1 and Phase 2.

The initiative includes renovating five roads in Phase 1 and roads leading to Vinares Flats, covering a total area of 19,001 square meters. Of this, 8,012 square meters will be resurfaced.

In addition, the project will complete remaining roads in Phase 1 and develop a road near Vinares Residence in Phase 2, with a total length of about 1.1 kilometers.

HDC also noted that repairs will address damage on asphalt roads, including sections of Fithuroanu Magu and nearby streets, aiming to improve overall road conditions in the area.
