Heena Waleed has been appointed as the new Minister of Arts, Culture, and Heritage.
The appointment was confirmed today at a ceremony held at the President's Office. Heena's appointment follows the resignation of Minister Adam Naseer from Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage.
Heena has been serving as the Chief Spokesperson of the President's Office as well as the CEO of National Social Protection Agency (NSPA). The President's Office has not appointed a new spokesperson as of yet.
