A serious traffic collision between a motorcycle and a car in Malé City has left a 22-year-old man critically injured.

Police reported that the accident occurred at approximately 2:16 p.m. when a speeding motorcycle crashed into the rear of a car. Two individuals riding the motorcycle sustained injuries and were taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that one of the victims, a 22-year-old Maldivian male, suffered severe injuries. The incident is currently under police investigation.
